Day 37 - Bangs Canyon, Rough Canyon, Mica Mine
The sunstreak cameras haven't been out of the barn for 2-1/2 years. Who knows if they (and I) still know how to work the magic. Tonight features a super-blood moon total eclipse.
Spot the tiny lizard. This little one was sizing me up - much with the same look I get from the Greyhaven parrot flock!
Down in Rough Canyon, Wendy finds compelling evidence of an ancient KFC franchise in the form of a fossilized chicken drummette.

We discover a small side canyon that has the most impressive grey and pink rocks.

Today is Russ' birthday - we opt for a simple burger 'n beer at the Handlebar. Turns out it all simply delicious. There's big food coming at us this week when life returns to the road - so a bit lighter tonight is good. Happy Birthday Russ!!
